Ever since the Belgian departed Stamford Bridge for Spanish giants Real Madrid in the summer of 2019, there has been talk of the Blues being keen to bring him back to west London.

Those rumours are of course intensifying yet again ahead of the January transfer window, with talk in the Spanish media suggesting that he has already been offered to Chelsea by Real Madrid as they attempt to clear his considerable wages off of the bill.

Some have been left sceptical over Hazard’s potential return to Stamford Bridge, with his poor output at the Santiago Bernabeu being a prime reason – he has scored just five goals in 55 outings for the club since joining the club.

Regardless, Hazard’s return would be an emotional one, with the Belgian having been a key figure for Chelsea over a seven-year period.

In 352 appearances for the Blues, he scored 110 goals and also played a key role in two Champions League success, two Europa League wins, as well as securing an FA Cup and League Cup winners’ medal.https://imasdk.googleapis.com/js/core/bridge3.491.0_en.html#goog_61917705

Should Chelsea seal his return in the upcoming January transfer window, they could also provide Hazard with yet another emotional reunion with their fixture list in the new year.

During the draw for the Champions League round of 16, Chelsea were drawn to face Hazard’s former club Lille, with the ties set to take place in February and March.Hero WarsBig Boss of internet gamesTrucking JobsWork as a truck driver in Canada (visa sponsorships might be available)by TaboolaSponsored Links

The now 30-year-old began his fledgling professional career with the reigning French champions, indicating his early promise by playing a starring role in their 2010/11 title success.

In the end, Hazard made 194 outings for Les Dogues ahead of his move to Chelsea.

It goes without saying then that if he becomes a Blue once more, he would certainly be looking forward to the clashes with his former club – a fact that has already been confirmed by the winger himself.https://get-latest.convrse.media/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.football.london%2Fchelsea-fc%2Fnews%2Feden-hazard-chelsea-champions-league-22450911&cre=bottom&cip=23&view=web

Speaking ahead of Belgium’s Euro 2016 quarter-final played in the city, he said: “Lille is where everything started for me. It is the city where I first became a pro.

“I have never had the opportunity to play in the new stadium, I have been twice to watch a game.
