Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases has crossed the 20,000 mark after the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Sunday confirmed 436 additional cases. The country now has 20,224 cases with 6,879 recovered persons and 518 deaths.

Lagos, the country’s economic and commercial centre has the highest number of cases – 8,576, that’s 42.36 percent of the country’s total with the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) a distant second with 1,567 cases (7.74 percent).

Cross River is the only state yet to record a single case according to the NCDC.
